13 Rice Exporters to Participate in ANUGA 2025 International Food Expo in Germany!!!

The Chairman of the Cambodian Rice Federation (CRF) will lead a delegation of CRF members, as well as representatives from the Rural and Agricultural Development Bank (ARDB) and Khmer Entrepreneurs (KE), to participate in the ANUGA 2025 International Foods Industry Trade Fair, which is scheduled to be held in Germany in early October.

According to CRF's press release, from October 4-8, 2022, Mr. Lai Chun Hoo, Chairman of the Cambodian Rice Federation, will lead a Cambodian delegation of 45 delegations from 16 entities, including 13 rice exporters that are members of the Cambodian Rice Federation, and representatives from the Bank for Rural and Agricultural Development (ARDB) and Khmer Entrepreneurs (KE) to participate in the ANUGA 2025 – International Foods Industry Trade Fair in Germany. The program will occur from October 4-8, 2025, in Cologne, Germany.

CRF mentioned that this is the second time that Cambodian representatives have attended the ANUGA International Foods Industry Trade Fair after their 1st participation in 2023.

The ANUGA International Foods Industry Trade Fair was originally established in 1919, and the event has also evolved a lot and has become an important gathering platform for the world of experts and decision-makers on food and beverage policy-making.

The 13 Cambodian rice exporters that will exhibit their products at the ANUGA International Foods Industry Trade Fair include 1. Cambodia Golden Rice Co., Ltd., 2. Indochina Rayes Mill Company Limited, 3. Golden Restoration Mill En Ampat Expo, 4 Emru Rice Co., Ltd., 5 Kampong Thom Rays Mill Limited, 6 Citi Reyes Empath Export Co., Ltd., and 7.

Other companies include 8 Lo Eng Heng Sekkong Reiss Co., Ltd., 9 Siknitsch Reiss Co., Ltd., 10 Golden Don Glass Reiss Mill Co., Ltd., 11 Fitrays Rails Co., Ltd., 12 Eng Hung Impot Export Co., Ltd., and 13 Prasad Co., Ltd.

On his participation in the program, Mr. Lai Chunhu will also be attending a presentation on the progress of Cambodia's rice sector at the Eurofine Rice Conference 2025 and leading members to a meeting with Sustainable Rice Platform SRP Global on the progress of the Cambodia SRP National Chapter, as well as meeting with the largest rice importer and distributor in the European Community (Euricom), headquartered in Milan, Italy.

Data from the Cambodian Rice Federation (CRF) shows that between January and August 2022, Cambodia exported 472,803 tonnes of rice to 66 countries/territories, collecting $348.18 million. 1% from $305.15 million.

In the past eight months, Cambodia has also exported 4,848,835 tonnes of paddy, equivalent to $114.25 million, compared to the same period last year, amounting to 3,318,592 tonnes and receiving $918.16 million.
