Watch the classical dance performance of "King Rama VII and Princess Indradevi" 30th Anniversary of the French Institute this weekend!!!

Phnom Penh News: On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the French Institute, the 3-day dance troupe of the Princess Bophadevi Dance School also performed the classical dance "King Rama VII and Princess Indradevi" on the evening of Saturday, March 19, 2022.

The event reflects on cultural relations and is a diverse art form performance, such as film screenings, book exhibitions, art performances, archaeological science festivals, etc., will be held for 3 days from 18 to 20 March 2022 to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the French Institute in Cambodia.

Teacher Om Yuwandi, the leader of the dance troupe of Queen Bophadevi School and the teacher in charge of the technique, explained the meaning and lifted a scene to perform: "Just take the character of "Princess Indradevi Victory Devi" straight to the scene that she has built in the field of formal education and cultural arts. Originally, only in the classical dance section, I couldn't do it because I needed a lot of technological means, which affected the Khmer classical dance form."

The teacher continues: "This idea emerged from a feeling of love and hearing about the prestige, potential, of the two kings, including King Rama VII and Princess Victory Devi, through inscriptions and documents, which should be astonished, respected, promoted and promoted.
